If you are enrolled in the instant ink services. Yes, when you print an A5 paper or any other paper size from the printer it is still counted as 1 page.

Go to setup menu on the printer control panel and select printer status report from the list. This gives you information about the number of pages you have printed from the printer.

If you are enrolled in the instant ink program, Please share us few details through a private message, so I can check the account details and credit the pages if it is incorrectly charged.
