Hello Arbuckle,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

 

I would love to help, but there have been many printers, OSes, etc mentioned on the thread, could you tell me the computer (including the version of Operating System installed) and the printer, please?

My printer is an HP Envy 4500 series. I have the printer connected to my network and it says it is successful. However, when I try to print it says it is not. I have printed out all kinds of thing from the printer itself, however, I cannot get the printer to recognize regular documents from my computer.

How do I get the printer on the same network as my computer. Says it cannot connect to network. They have different IP addresses. Do I change the printer IP address to my network?
