Laserjet pro 200 color m251nw

We have been unable to use our printer for over a year now due to an error message saying "jam in output bin". We have followed all of the prompts and read several discussion boards that had no resolution. We have opened up the rear door and there is no paper in there. We have reset the printer numerous times. Occasionally when it turns on we can get one page to print and then as it is trying to print the second page that error message pops up and the job stops. Is there any way to resolve this? It was an expensive printer and was very lightly used and has brand new inkjet cartridges in it- would love to get it working!!!!

@2binghams_2004, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you able to bypass this error to access the home screen on the printer?

If yes, then we can try to perform a factory reset on the printer.

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Clearing Paper Jams for HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251n and M251nw Printers

If the error persists and you are not able to bypass it, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Did you find how to fix this?

I have the same exact problem as you.
I really don’t want to find another printer with all this brand new ink.
