Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding '0x6100004a' Error on HP OfficeJet Printers!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
The '0x6100004a' error typically occurs after a paper jam message. If you have checked and there is no paper jam, follow these steps to resolve the error:
Ensure Cartridge Access Door is Closed:
- With the printer turned off, open the cartridge access door.
- Remove the paper path cover and check for any paper remnants, labels, or obstructions within.
- Reinsert the paper path cover, ensuring it fits properly.
- Close the cartridge access door securely.
Clear the Error Message:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Open the cartridge access door with the printer turned off.
- Turn on the printer and wait for the carriage to move.
- Unplug the printer from power with the printer still on.
- Remove the ink cartridges carefully and set them aside. You might need to manually move the carriage to access the cartridges.
- Leave the access door open, turn on the printer, and allow it to finish its start-up sequence.
- Once the error is cleared, reinstall the ink cartridges. If the error persists, repeat these steps up to three times.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
