hp laserjet mfp m234dwe

HI,

 

I have a laserjet mfp m234dwe and have the rd code. Have seen posts on this board that it relates to a firmware update, however i have followed the instructions on this website, but printer is not responding and its not even connecting to my network. I have tried using the usb cable directly to my laptop but again, no connection at all. The printer is not responding at all when any of the buttons are pressed, apart from the power button. Have taken it to Currys genius bar, and even they couldnt get it to work. I would be grateful if somebody would provide some help getting this sorted out.

I have the same issue. The printer was working a week ago, but suddenly does not work and displays the "rd" error. Firmware update did not work.
