Am using HP Instant Ink service.
When the ink is low the warning are there, but nowhere on the printer or in the warnings does it say whether it is the black cartridge that is low or the colour cartridge that is low. Three black dots i a triangular form are the only indication which I took to be the black one, but that did not clear the warnings.
Does this mean I have to replace both cartridges every time irrespective of one still having ink?

Hello mrbcjb,
Aren't you able to check the ink levels by touching the icon that looks like a black drop of ink? You can check in your account to see if replacement cartridges have been ordeded, have been shipped and are on the way. Or do you already have on hand 1 of each (B&W and Color). Awaiting a reply.
