Each time I print I get a low ink message from windows 10. There is no low ink indicator on the printer display, and I just replaced the cartridge. Printing is not impaired.

Greetings!!@bosekavage
Thanks for reaching out to the forums!
I see that you are getting the error message after replacing the ink cartridge.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help.
Here I would recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.
Let's try these simple steps:
Step 1:
Uninstalling the Printer from the computer:
1> In Windows search for and open Programs and features
2>Select your HP Printer
3>Select Uninstall
4>In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers.
5>In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP Printer.
If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete or 'Remove Device'
6>Open up the run command with the "Windows key +R" key combo.
7>Type printui.exe /s and click ok
8>Click on the "drivers" tab.
9>Look for Hp Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10>Select Ok
11>Select Apply and Okon the Printer Server Properties windows
12>Close Devices and printers.
Step 2:
To reinstall driver software follow this link: http://hp.care/2i5HCEf

It appears that this is going to work, but when I try to install the driver from the HP download page, it informs me I have an outdated version of FlashPlayer. I updated via the link, but still receive the same message and it wonn't let me continue. I have been also been getting this same problem on another site, which I cannot access because it claims I don't have the proper version of FlashPlayer. I'd appreciate a solution if you know of one; meanwhile I'll try to find a safe download source elesewhere.

Ignore that last post. Somehow my FlashPlayer plugin on Firefox had been disabled. Printer has now been successfully reinstalled on the network, but everytime I print, yhr low ink warning displays as a notification

After digging all around the web, I've come to the conclusion that there's a bug in Windows 10. The printer isn't reporting low ink on the console, but the printer status and notification process in Windows 10 are. SO, I just turned off notification for the printer. I can live with the low ink light on the printer console. Consider this thread closed.....
