I tried the article of turning off IPV6, still when I connect back to wireless the 79 error comes back and keeps restarting. Does not do it with wireless off, but thats not very useful

I have the exact same issue. Turning off ipv6 doesn't fix the issue. It just started out of the blue this morning. And of course, my warranty ended 21 days ago. Last HP printer I will ever buy.

We experienced this today also. It affected only printers that had registered with Google Cloud Print.

 

The 79 Service Error over and over seems to have been fixed by restoring the printer settings to defaults.
