New M607n check printer on network less than 2 months, keeps jamming with 41.10.22 Error. Using Hyperion compatible MICR cartridge to print checks. Jams whether tray is set for Plain or Intermediate paper thickness.

Can you confirm the error code number please. The highest error code in the 41. series in the current service mode is 41.05.xx

Must be even newer then. 41.10.22. Check printed comes mostly out at the top and stops. Next sheet is jammed at the back of the machine, not printed. Happened several times today in one print job. Check stock is perforated with light adhesive so it can be folded and pressure-sealed. We don't have time to manually feed through Tray 1 one at a time when printing several checks, though that did work fine when I printed just 5. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Where is the jam happening? Have you tried a different cartridge to rule out a bad cartridge and verify that the printer works.

At the back of the machine. We open the back panel, remove the piece of jammed paper, then clear error messages and try again. It kept happening several times yesterday. Yes, we switched cartridges, and it still happened. Might have to give in and only use Tray 1, putting in just a few sheets of paper at a time. Most weekly check runs are over 100 checks. 😞
