It started relatively suddenly with no printing (the printer worked but the paper was blank) at all and when it was indicated that the ink level was low in all cartridges they were replaced but still without results. After several attempts to clean the printerhead there started to come some colours on the test print, but not any black colour. I further calibrated the printing head without any help

Are you using genuine hp ink cartridge?

Thanks to your reply. I followed the very detailed recommandations but there was not a phone number. Maybe due to the 4620 series is out of guarantee?

However I tried to “wash” the printerhead in alcohol without any success. Then I tried to contact one of the two HP servicecenters listed on HP’s website for Denmark. This servicecenter (servicecentergruppen.dk) later informermed me that They was not a HP servicecenter. It seems that the list need a updating.

I finally bought a new printer. Even I had been satisfied with my HP printer I choosed a Canon. The reason was that the salesman tould me it was very much cheeper in printer cartridges.
