Hello,
Documents in preview, both MS Office and PDF, show correct margins on my screen. However, when I print the left hand margin is always wider than the right hand margin. I've checked margins on screen and checked the driver settings. Print alignment check has been done twice, Paper size has been checked. Test page has the correct margins. This started after I installed new cartridges. I've only had this printer for 3 months. Any solutions? Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out to the HP Support community!
- Does this issue occur while making a copy?
- Have you tried printing from other applications apart from MS Office and PDF? Do you face the same issue?
Let's try to uninstall and re-install the printer driver. This may fix the issue.
- In Windows, search for 'Control Panel' and open 'Programs' or 'Programs and features' and select 'Uninstall a Program'.
- Select your HP Printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for 'Control Panel' and look for 'View devices and printers'option under 'Hardware and Sound'.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'.
- Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
- Click on the "Drivers" tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select Ok.
- Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
- Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart the computer.
- Download the printer driver and install it from this link or manually search for drivers from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/printers.
- Open the downloaded file, follow onscreen instructions and complete installation
- Try printing from your PC again and check if you can print.

Hello,
Thank you for your quick reply. When I use Serif Page Plus X9 there is no top margin - the print resembles bleed when it isn't needed. When I print a copy - scanning using the display on the printer - I get the same problem.
There is no option but to re-install the printer driver. I shall uninstall the USB driver (disabled) and the Wi-Fi - enabled driver. A registry cleaner might help in addition to using the procedure you suggest. I shall get back to you when I have completed all this - probably in the next day or so.

- Uninstalled and reinstalled my HP Envy 5020 as per instruction. Still have wide margin at bottom of page. No problems copying and everything looks right onscreen. I use Word in Windows 10. I have never had this issue with previous printers on any OS. Very frustrating!
