Hi,

My printer keeps not printing the whole page!! Every time I want to print the whole page it shows me on the print preview that the whole page will have the design but when it prints the design always has one inch at the bottom blank and up top it looks like it is smudged. Do I need to replace my print head? I try to align my printer and every time it tells me it cannot align my printer. What am I supposed to do? I just bought this printer from someone and I need it to finish my orders for my at home business. Can I get it under warranty since I just bought this printer?

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

If that copies fine, follow the below steps:

 

Meanwhile:

Clean the printhead

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. On the product control panel, touch the Setup icon , and then touch Tools.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead.

    NOTE: 

    Mechanical noises during the cleaning process are normal. A test page prints when the cleaning process finishes.

  • If the print quality on the test page is satisfactory, touch No to return to the current print job.
