My old black in is out of colour so i bought a new Ink Advantage 680 to replace it.
But after i have replace the ink, my printer doesnt work anymore and the light at the black ink, always blinking.
I try to change the colour ink too, that doesnt have any problem with that, so i have to buy another new black ink ( i thought maybe is the quality of the black ink not function ), but after i put the 2nd black ink inside, still the same thing happens.
What can i do to solve this problem ?
Thanks

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2135 printer. I understand that black ink light is blinking and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
Make sure that the ink cartridges are compatible.
Remove, inspect, and then reseat the ink cartridges.
Clean the electrical contacts.
Reset the printer.
-
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Turn on the printer.
Click here and refer step 4 in the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know if that helps.
Cheers.

Hi @Fionawong,
Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that the issue still persists after following the steps provided in the previous interaction.
It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
This could be a hardware issue with electrical contacts on the printer.
Please follow the steps in the link: Ink Cartridge Errors
If the issue still persists, then you may need to contact HP Phone Support for further assistance at the link: www.hp.com/contacthp
You have a good day ahead.
