HP Envy 5660
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I try to print a PDF file off the Internet, I get the spinning circles with the message "Connecting," but it never connects or prints. If I download the file, the same thing happens. Like others, I don't have a problem printing word or Excel documents on the my computer.

Delete and uninstall Adobe Reader on your computer. Now download from the Adobe web site Acrobat Reader DC and install. Now try.

This solution worked like a charm. Thanks very much for ending weeks of frustration!

However, I must add that it appears I still have to download the file before printing it. WIth my previous HP printer I was able to print PDF files directly off the site where they existed. I don't understand why I can't do that anymore. Any ideas?

Probably a setting in Adobe Reader
