Hi @Harshrajbaner,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the print preview in the HP Smart app is not functioning correctly and keeps hovering or freezing, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Restart the App

  • Close the HP Smart app completely and then reopen it. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.

2. Check Wi-Fi Connection

  • Ensure that both your mobile device and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, being on different networks can cause connectivity issues.

3. Update the HP Smart App

  • Check for any available updates for the HP Smart app in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Updating the app can fix bugs and improve functionality.

4. Clear App Cache (Android)

  • If you’re using an Android device, go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart and select Storage. Then, tap Clear Cache and restart the app.

5. Reinstall the HP Smart App

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your device and then reinstall it. This can help reset any configuration issues.

6. Check Printer Status

  • Ensure that your printer is online and ready to print. You can do this by checking the printer’s control panel or using the HP Smart app to verify its status.

7. Use Alternative Print Method

  • Try printing from a different app (like a photo or document viewer) to see if the problem persists. This can help determine if the issue is with the app or the printer itself.

8. Check Printer Firmware

  • Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
