Hi,
I have one line in my cyan. I contact support for cleaning head but always same result after much maintenance cleaning and alignment.
The technician suggest to cleaning my copper contact, but my printer cannot move head in middle for opening printhead cover. We try many times after reboot, after disconnect power 60 sec. etc...
The printer never wants to give access to printhead. There is no menu to do that yet.
I had always a message for closing cover to continue, but nothing happened after.

Finally, I solved the problem by disconnecting the printer after a reboot.
I waited for the carrier go to center and removed the power cord. I then gently cleaned the contacts with a cotton swab and reinserted the printhead. My print is now perfect.

It seems your HP Smart Tank 7602 printhead won’t move for cleaning access, even after multiple reboots and power resets. Try lifting the scanner lid right as the printer powers on to interrupt the startup and move the carriage. If that fails, contact HP support again and request escalation, as it may be a hardware or sensor issue.
