I have had my HP printer for ages and love it.  I have recently purchased new HP-Branded black and colour inks for it.  I have installed the inks and now am getting a fine shadow behind all of my text.  This is occuring in Word and in PDFs.  In fact, anything I print out.  I have Aligned the Cartridges 4 times.  I have done a Clean of the cartiridges (although as they are brand new, I don't know why I would need to do this but I have), I have done an Intermediate and Prime clean also, and have then Re-aligned the cartridges all to no avail.  I am trying to print out some fine work for children to do handwriting practice, and having this extra shadow behind all of the letters is really confusing.  Can anyone suggest what I can do now to fix this please?

Tnx, Wendy

Here is the extended print report that you asked for and an example of the double text that is printing.  Can you help me solve this please? I've never had this issue before and it was completely fine before I installed these new Branded HP cartridges, so I think it must be an error with them.

Apparently my image was rejected so here it is again

I still cannot view the image, but it does seem like a cartridge issue.

I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your cartridge/printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
