I went through the installation steps for the printer software but I am still unable to print. I seem to have been able to connect my printer to my wifi. I also tried connecting my printer to my computer with a USB cord but still no luck. Please help.

My HP 8620 is USB to my computer, but Wi-Fi to the laptop.
Go into Control panel and open "devices and printer". You should have only 1 event of the HP 8620 OffoceJet Pro. If you have more, delete any that do not have the green check mark. Now, right click on the green checkmarked 8620. Open the printer properties TAB. Open the ports tab. Only USB001 should be checked. That will lock your 8620 to a USB configuration.
