Laserjet Pro M203

I have LaserJet Pro M203. The firmware is 20200605.

The font list contains PS, PCL and PCL6.  The font list does not contain "barcode font".

I need to print 1D and 2D (matrix, QR, etc) barcode using PCL command.

The PCL command I sent to the printer is <ESC>*p50x50Y<ESC>(0Y<ESC>(s1p15v0s0b0T01234<ESC>E

It only print the 01234 and not barcode.

The device sending the command is a Programmable Logic Controller so it cannot run a "barcode generating software".

How do I add the "barcode font" to the printer?  I could not find the "barcode font" on the web.

Thanks

Typically adding advanced barcodes to laser printers requires a font card either a USB stick or a memory stick that has the fonts programmed on it.

Thank you for the information.

Other printer maker like Brother and Canon have the barcode font already installed in their printer.

You would think HP would have the barcode font already installed or be able to install as a driver.
