This is the 2nd cartridge I've purchased # 62 Black Ink For HP Envy 5660 OEM from Wal mart. I never used generic brands and I have been keeping track of all my pages printed. Half of these are draft then when I start to see fading I do full printer maintenance, clean, align, etc. then print in normal mode.
I DO NOT print images, or full pages. (these are all eBay shipping labels which cover about 40% of a standard 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. I print about 5-10 pages a month
I went through just 46 printed pages and now it says I'm low on ink and needs to be replaced. Doing online searches this cartridge's should of yielded over 150 pages! Bought the ink last summer and normal use its been 6 months now its January 2021)
ALREADY DID the major cleanings, reset the printer (on/off, unplug, etc.) removed cartridge, re-installed, even cleaned the metal looking contacts with a Q-tip Still nothing!
I really hate spending over $40 for 2 regular cartridges and this costing me about 50cents to print a simple black and white shipping label.
ALREADY tried the online support. I even called HP spoke to a live person told them the exact problem, they transferred me to an automated message saying to go back to online support again! Could not find any solution after numerous searches! Going in circles going nowhere!
Possible I got 2 defective cartridges in a row? Possible this is an HP money making scam to buy more of their ink? HELP

****I post this message to other consumers not intended to bad mouth or keep away from their sales of HP printers just my personal experience as I wont be purchasing anything HP branded anymore. I'm done with their printers and all electronics. I took such good care of this printer its turning out its wasting my money and now this message directs me to upgrade and spend even more money?! This ink cartridge should be discontinued or they should remove that it supports this model on their packaging. I already spoke with a local computer repair shop explaining every detail and they told me to contact HP!
SO PISSED! I spend so much money on this ink only to find out this printer I bought just 3 years ago isn't supported anymore! Model - HP ENVY 5660
