Thank you for the information provided.  Even with it, it took me a while to make sure the photo tray was selected properly.  Now I am sure I can manage my printing jobs!  I have a couple of other issues with this printer, but this problem is solved, and I'll tackle the others at a later date.

Your settings for printing from the photo tray did not work for me at all...mine look exactly like yours and still nothing.  So, I used what the other customer said and I'm using my Windows Photo viewer for now because I have to have these pictures done today and have been wasting a ton of time trying to resolve this for two weeks now.  Hope there is another option so that I can use my other programs also when wanting to print from the photo tray.  Another error I kept getting was "Design to page size "letter" does not match "4x6in" printer paper size.  Set printer to "letter" paper size and then print."  I tried everything and nothing worked, even in the Windows Photo Viewer...eventually what I had been trying worked.  Hopefully it will continue to work, at least in the photo viewer program even though it won't work on anything else.

@lee4guy, have you checked the firmware on the 7520. The latest is ELM1CN1320AR.

I have my printer set on automatic update and I just checked and it says that it has all the latest update...I'm assuming that it means the firmware is updated also.  I also just tried to print using the Windows Photo Viewer...it worked the first time but now it's not printing again...it keeps telling me that "paper size in incorrect, change the paper and click ok"....I didn't change anything from the first picture that printed fine to the second.  However, I checked to see if things had reverted and it had not.  I finally just printed the picture I needed on an 8x11 and then just cut it to a 4x6.  Very frustrating for sure.

@lee4guy, print a network configuration page & the firmware # should be listed.

Which version of Windows are you using?

Have you tried another program like IrfanView to print your 4x6 images?

The Firmware Revision it shows is:  ELM1CN1409AR.

I have a few photo softwares and have tried a couple to include the HP Photo Printing which I have used for years, but it didn't work there either.  Tried the HP Photo creation and Wondershare Photo Collage program...I thought it was going to just let me use the Windows Photo viewer, but after the first print, that stopped working too.

Have you checked for malware?

Yes, I run Kapersky in the background...and once a week I run SpyBot, Trojan Remover and Advance System Care 7....ran them yesterday and all found nothing.  It seems that the photo tray just works whenever it wants to...very strange.  The first time it worked I didn't even know it was going to print there...I didn't set it to print from it, and it did anyway....go figure.

@lee4guy, at this point I can only suggest that you re-install the 7520 software with Kaspersky disabled.
