I have same problem!!!

I make it work by lifting smoke gray (?) photo tray cover and then with finger I PUSH stack of 4 x 6 photo paper forward.  It usually prints not only the first page but all succeding pages as well.

I hope someone from HP reads this and comes up with a better answer.

I have an HP Photosmart 7520  Model= 7520  Product = CZ045A  Service ID? = 23165

Serial # = [Personal Information Removed].

My OS is Windows 7 PRO,  I also own an 8600 which seldom gets used.  Much prefer 7520 ( Why I don't know)

Above info recovered from HP printer front panel.

Why is same info not available from "HP CONNECTED" software???

My HP Photosmart 7520 suddenly will not print 4x6 photos from photo tray. How can this be corrected?

I'm using Windows 8.1 and HP AIO Printer Remote and I can't find the 'Properties' window to change the settings show here.

Where is this 'settings' page?

THank you.

@johnof, just enter Devices and Printers in the search box, and then tap or click Devices and Printers.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Unfortunately, when the printer appears and I click on 'Properties' I get very limited options (see first jpg) and nowhere can I set the photo tray or any of the other details that you show in your message. I followed instructions at the bottom of the window to 'right-click on the printer icon in Devices and Printers' to make changes - again, nothing like what you show appreas (see second jpg.)

Thank you.

John.

@johnof, you appear to have used the built-in 7520 driver from Microsoft.

Download & install the full or basic driver file from HP.

Thank you. This was a step in the right direction. So now I have the new drivers but it says I have the 'incorrect paper size' loaded in the photo tray (it's 5 X 7). Then I look for help and find a link: 'Show me how to load photo paper into this printer.' that appears during setup. I click it. It takes me to the instructions for loading paper into the main tray with 4 possible sizel (letter, legal, envelope etc) but NOWHERE anything about loading the photo tray.

Please forgive the edge of frustration but SURELY a multi-billion $ company can do better than this. Maybe even recognize and automatically adjust for hte actual photo stock size loaded??

<sigh>

Thank you.
