Envy 120
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Although the Envy is showing some (but not much) ink, it prints a blank page.

The 'Print Quality Diagnostics Page prints a blank page.

If the ink was that low, wouldn't the software notify me??

The ink monitors are only an estimation of ink levels.  They can be off quite a bit.   Suggest you replace all low cartridges and check again.

Ok. I'll do that.

I have an old Photo smart Premium.   A new symbol has appeared on the message screen. ... Touch Print Go with hp  below and below that blue ribbons.   Now it doesn't print plain 81/2 x 11 paper but will print on the 4X6 photo. There is no error message.  It just cranks out blank pages.   pr30

I don't recall the model number of my previous HP printer but it always notified me of ink status. The response that I've read that these warnings are estimates and not reliable is not a good answer. I was printing a long job on my new Envy 4250, and before I had any idea that ink was low, the printer had "printed" several blank pages. At least some warning, even if too cautious, would be helpful. Any ideas about how to estimate when it's time to replace cartridges? They are expensive and it's a shame to replace one that has many pages yet to print.
