While printing a lengthy document, my HPDeskjet 2755e ran out of paper. I put more in the tray and the printer started printing again where it had left off. Paper ran out again and I put in more. This time, the printer started printing the cover page and page 1 before I pressed the "Stop" button, (which is a red "X" in a black circle). On my laptop, I clicked on the print icon and where there was a space for selecting "Even", "Odd", or "Custom", I selected "Custom" and then entered the page numbers that I wanted printed, which were 59-116. However, the printer started over with the cover page and page1. Once again, I pressed the stop button and went through the whole process again with the same results. What should I do to print only designated pages, keeping in mind that the document was a down-loaded PDF.

- Print Preview: Before sending the print job to the printer, use the print preview option to confirm that the correct page range is selected. This can help identify any discrepancies between the selected range and what is being sent to the printer.

In regards to my previous message, I found a way to print the correct-numbered pages by entering one page number at a time, which was a very time consuming process. What I found is that the printer had started printing from page 116 and going backwards! I have finished this project. Thank you.
