So an update came out on November 22nd, 2021 and like everything I own I had my printer set to auto update.

 

Now when my son was trying to print a document for a presentation I have an error message saying my cartridge is blocked.

 

Went to the website and was told to download a firmware version that disables the dynamic security but it is not available for my printer.

 

You state that using non hp products does not void a warranty but blocking the use of these products is almost criminal.
