- OJ 4630 Wont Turn On But Makes Sound

After I canceled by Instant Ink subscription (but before my cartridges expire) my OJ 4630’s screen goes dark and shows a very hard to read error code.
I do a power drain and try to do the factory reset but it doesn’t come back to life. I hear a faint sound when I have the power connected, but nothing else.
Ideas on how to fix this? Or is this what I get for canceling instant ink?

Hi @wg6524
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printer issue.
To better assist you -
1) Have you replaced the Instant ink cartridges with the regular ink cartridges?
2) Can you send us a picture of the error screen?
While you respond to that, try these steps -
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Asmita,
Thank you for your reply; however, I have already tried these steps. I also double checked to make sure that there is a green light on the power supply.
(1) No I have not, simply because it won't turn on for me to replace any cartridges.
(2) I cannot, because I followed HP's guidance and restarted the printer and that's when it died (aka no longer powered on to present the error code).
Is this a product of the instant ink cancelation? Does it simply kill my printer before my plan expires if I ask to have it canceled?
