The only response I have had since my submission on the 9th is "Your new rank is Level 2. ". I do still have an unresolved problem, so what's happening about this?

HP Recommended

It is now 3/11/2020 and still no response.

Generally, try to calibrate the linefeed:

Other than that it is either one of the printheads (Probably the Black/Yellow) by the included sample, or the printer requires servicing, so please keep that in mind and consider the printhead price prior to trying to replace it.

Thank you Shlomi. Nobody has asked about the printhead, but the problem occurred after replacing the M/C printhead. Therefore I ask, is there a warranty on this item? It was installed on 13/09/2020.. Also the link you sent to calibrate the line feed does not work for the Deskjet 8000 as there is no screen on this printer. However I found how to do this via Printer preferences and Services.

I would like a response to my last post of 5 November, querying if I had been supplied with a faulty print head,

HP C4901A 940 Original Printhead, Magenta and Cyan, which is causing the print of an extra page and asking if there was a warranty on this item. I would prefer not to have to abandon this printer as I like it's large ink cartridges.

As present, if I do replace it, it will not be an HP product.
