My Officejet Pro 8028 printer has worked fine for a long time. Just this week, when I try to change paper settings, the settings are greyed-out and I get "feature locked by person the person who setup the printer". I'm the only person who ever uses the printer.
I sell on eBay and must change between Letter, Label, and Envelope paper size settings. Yes, I can enter the admin password each time but that's not productive. I understand that a Soft Reset of some sort is needed, but I can't find how to do it. I'm in the Instant Ink program and sure don't want to to a Factory Reset. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi @sallen7117,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
