We have an old print job that keeps trying to print out of our OfficeJet 8600. It stops us from printing new jobs unless we cancel it at the printer and reboot the printer. We have followed directions to check and clear the print spooler on Windows 10, and there is nothing in there.
Our print spoolers are clearly empty but this file keeps showing up. It's slow when it prints. 11 blank pages followed by 11 pages of text.
Would there be a stuck print file inside the printer? If so, how do we clear that? I don't see a control panel on the printer screen for checking if there is a means to reset the printer. I don't want to clear to factory resets if I don't have to but is there a reset for internal memory?

Give the HP print & scan doctor program a try. (link)
