@Melaself, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your old printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it can be to see an old printer lingering in your list when you no longer use it. No worries—I’ll guide you through removing it.

Here’s what you can do:

For Windows:

  1. Press Windows + R, type control printers, and hit Enter.
  2. Find the printer you want to remove, right-click on it, and select Remove Device.
  3. If prompted, confirm the removal.
  4. To fully clear any leftover drivers, open Print Management (search for it in the Start menu), go to Print Servers > Drivers, and remove any related drivers.

For macOS:

  1. Click the Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences for older macOS).
  2. Select Printers & Scanners.
  3. Choose the printer you want to remove and click the minus (-) button.
  4. Confirm the deletion, and it’s gone!

If you’re having trouble removing it, let me know what error message (if any) you’re seeing, and I’ll be happy to assist further.

Hope this helps! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
