I can scan, see printing supplies, etc., but cannot print, as print jobs disappear from the print queue before printing. Other computers, both Win and Mac can print to the printer, and I can print on other printers, but not this one. Event Viewer shows Error ID 372, Client computer: \\LAPTOP-O87G0FIH. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 2147500037. Unspecified
I've tried all the recommended fixes (uninstall, install drivers; stop the spooling service, clear, restart the service; used Print and Scan doctor, and nothing works. I have all the latest updates and drivers. I've tried a clean boot and that didn't work.
I'm hoping to avoid a clean reinstall of Windows 10. Is that the only remaining option, or is there something else I can do?

Update - I did a clean install of Windows 10 and could print again... for about ten days. Now, again, I run into the same spooler problems, only for this printer. It's not worth it again to do a clean install of Windows. Any ideas, other than buying a new printer?

@LA888, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I believe the printer is connected wirelessly. Let us try this:
Install the printer using the TCP/IP port:
- On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Add a printer(at the top)
- Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
- Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
- Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
- Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
- Try printing.
If the issue persists, Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how. Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Kumar. Unfortunately, that didn't work. I tried both installing the printer using the TCP/IP port, and subsequently installing the printer using the Windows built-in driver. Still the issue persists that documents go to the spooler for an instant and disappear without printing. I am able to print on another printer, and other PCs are able to print on this printer - I just cannot print from my PC to this printer (though I can scan and see the printer status).

It seems like an issue with the OS on this coumputer.
I think this issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction or a remote session with our HP Support team.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region for further assistance.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Hi Kumar,
Thanks for your response. I'd love to get technical assistance through a remote session, but I cannot get past the virtual agent. My warranty has expired. How can I get in touch with a human? I'm in the USA.
