I've tried everything under the sun and I keep getting this error... Printer Failure 0x6100004a There is a problem with your printer or print system. Turn the printer Off, then On. If you continue to get this message, contact HP.
I contacted HP and their answer was that I should buy a new printer. I haven't had this print that long nor have I used it that much, so I don't feel like it's lived a full life yet. I've probably printed a total of 50 times on it. So does anyone know how to fix this issue? I was able to print using the HP Smart App for a little bit and it bypassed this issue but now that doesn't seem to work either. I keep getting this error and cannot print.

@MichelleBC, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - An 'Ink System Failure' or 'System Supply Problem' Error Displays
You may also try the steps here - Printhead errors
Make sure you are using HP ink cartridges. Insert one ink cartridge at a time and check for the error.
Use the old ink cartridges(if available) and check if the error persists.
If the error persists, I'm afraid the issue is with the printhead. The printhead is non-removable in this model printer.
If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
