Hi Ferenc_vG,
Thanks for relating your experience. In my case, I already had HP Smart installed on all my connected devices long before the problem ever occurred. I tried all imaginable solutions including easy stuff like updating the HP Smart software, looking for new drivers, disabling and re-enabling services, etc. Nothing really worked. The problem persisted for days. I haven't had the problem in a while, but there is no perceivable reason why it stopped. I now always keep the printer off and only turn it on whenever I need to use it (in the past it was always on, so that other family members could print at will from their phones/computers, but now we always turn it on just on a need-to-use basis.

I had a similar problem, but another way helped me twice on different laptops. If you are using windows 11 open Settings -> Bluetooth and devices -> Printers & scanners -> *find your printer* -> Printer properties -> in the new window find Device Settings tab -> select Disable for Printer Status Notification field.
