I would like to send 2 printers in to be recycled. The models are HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 and HP PhotoSmart 7510, neither of them work and I do not want to dump them.

@BMoffatt,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

HP has a hardware recycling program in the U.S. that allows you to properly recycle your old printers. Here’s what you can do:

Option 1: Use HP’s Free Recycling Program:

HP offers free recycling for printers through its HP Planet Partners program.

  • Visit HP’s Recycling Page.
  • Select "Recycle products""Recycle hardware and batteries".
  • Enter your ZIP code to find drop-off locations or request a free shipping label to send the printers for recycling.

Option 2: Drop Off at Best Buy or Staples:

Many Best Buy and Staples locations accept printers for recycling, often for free or a small fee.

Option 3: Check Local E-Waste Recycling Centers:

Some City or County waste management facilities accept electronic waste.

  • You can find local recycling options at Earth911 by entering your ZIP code and selecting “Printers.”

The recycling links are no longer working, is there another way to send my products in?

@BMoffatt,

My friend, before I post any response to anyone, I always check the validity of the links in my posts.

So, I doublechecked, and ALL of the links I added are valid and are working just fine.

For example, had you clicked on my first link, you would have been greeted with this:

Where you can find the nearest Best Buy store near to you where you can drop off your HP printers.

What am I missing here?

This is what appears when I follow your links.

@BMoffatt,

That is correct: then you scroll down and follow the proverbial dotted line like so:

@BMoffatt,

There should not be an "HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request" -the link is fully operational in the US:

Try to copy-paste the link directly into your browser instead of clicking it.

If this doesn't work, try a different browser.
