I have tried on two occasions now to print of the notes pages of a PowerPoint presentation. The printer prints the first four pages then empties the papertray putting one line of graphic characters on each page. This is wasting so much paper. To stop it I cannot cancel it, I just have to switch off. I then print off pages one at a time via the single sheet feeder!

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

many thanks

If it prints 4 pages fine and then goes nuts then likely you have a corrupted file with an embedded command that the printer does not understand. This type of behavior is caused by either bad/wrong driver or a corrupted file and as the printer does print 4 pages ok, a bad file is a more likely issue.

I suggest you try printing a different type of long document to see if the problem happens there to. If it does, delete and reinstall your printer as a first step. If it does not, you may need to either check or recreate the problem document.
