Product: 3150 printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Was given a 3150 hp printer, bought new ink(92,93 combo pack)and I am getting a “check cartridge error after printing 8 photos. 2 images were 8”x10”, the others were roughly a half page on letter size paper. Is this typical? I have printed far more than this in the past on a different printer. At $50 for the ink, it seems like robbery; that’s over $6 per print! That’s absurd. Print quality is fine, ink layer appears good(not overly heavy). Using photo paper, all of the settings are correct.
