Hi @Azrinnordin,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet printer shows the color ink light, paper light, and information light on, while the start button is unresponsive, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
1. Check for Paper Jams
- Open the Printer: Check inside the printer for any jammed paper. Remove any stuck paper carefully.
- Check the Paper Tray: Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and that the tray is not overloaded.
2. Check Ink Cartridges
- Inspect Cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are installed correctly and securely. Remove and reinstall them if necessary.
- Check for Ink Levels: If the cartridges are low or empty, replace them with new ones.
3. Perform a Power Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 1 minute.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
4. Clear Any Error Messages
- Printer Control Panel: Check if the printer control panel displays any specific error messages. Follow the prompts to resolve any errors indicated.
5. Check Connections
- USB or Network Connection: If the printer is connected via USB, try using a different port or cable. For network connections, ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
6. Update Printer Firmware
- Check the HP support website for any available firmware updates for your printer model. Updating the firmware can resolve various issues.
7. Reset Printer to Factory Settings
- Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions on how to reset the printer to factory settings. This can sometimes clear persistent errors.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
