I also experienced this issue starting yesterday 10.26.2022. This was after successfully printing earlier in the day. I wonder if this was a mislabeled firmware that was pushed. No way to print right now, now way to clear this error message.

Same issue here, a push update did not download properly. To remedy I had to go to HP hardware support page, https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/FW_CPE_Consumer/M280_M281/M280, and download M280_Series_FW_Update-20221010.exe. HOWEVER, I had to made several attempts before the update "took"

Often this message can only be cleared by sending the upgrade file over a USB connection. Download the firmware from support.hp.com and follow the upgrade instructions.
