I have a HP Deskjet F4280. The problem that I am having is that the printer is not printing on full page. It is printing the page to 1/4 size of the page. The page size setting have also changed to what looks like a different language. EX: om hagaki. The preview is normal but the print is shrinking it to 1/4 of the page.

Welcome to HP support community.
Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?
If that does not copies fine, follow the steps mentioned in this document:-Click here
If copes fine, then follow the below steps:
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and install printer full feature driver from this link:- Click here
(Note: you can change the OS before downloading the driver)
I hope that helps.

I suggest you remove the printer.
Then, add the printer using the below document.
Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-deskjet-f4200-all-in-one-printer-series/3390945/model/339094... for Printing from a Chromebook
Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
Restart the printer.
Try to print.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Hello and thank you for trying to help me. But, do far, all the information you have given me I have already tried or is not applicable. I am printing from a Chromebook, not Windows or Mac or smartphone. It is connected with USB, not wireless. None of the solutions you presented are applicable, unless I am missing something?
