Better details about what you have actually tried would be useful. Also, did any event such as power outage, firmware update or physical damage happen before you started having this problem?
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

My printer is 5 years old. It is a Laser Jet Pro MFP M225dw. I am also using a MacBook Pro.
I have been on the phone with HP Support, my case number is [personal info removed.].
I moved to a new location.
In my previous location, I had to use the USB cable and connect that to my printer, because the wi-fi was so weak.
But now I have a new place with a strong wi-fi connection.
When I moved to the new location and plugged in the computer, it initialized.
But then I called HP Support to help me set-up the wi-fi connection.
We got the printer to print from the computer, but it wasn't making copies and the scanner was not working.
That's when HP suggested a Hard Reset.
I have done:
Hard reset
Removed cartridge and reset
Since it is not initializing, I cannot do the Factory reset and I don't know what the NVRAM reset is.
Those the steps, so far.
Help.
