Your responses have plastered my inbox. But with using instant ink it won’t let you turn off the updates. So therefore this won’t work. I have literally tried everything. Maybe it’s the update that HP pushed out due to the high number of people complaining right now about the same thing….

This appears to have worked.  HP Instant Ink does not work now, but I have canceled my plan.  Please send a notice when the firmware updates should be turned back on.  Thank you!

I appreciate all these instructions - but i had to revert back to automatic firmware updates for my HP instant ink cartridges.  So very frustrating overall!

I don't have instant ink but had automatic updates turned on and started having the problem this thread talks about maybe a week ago.  Found this thread and a few others and finally uncovered that turning automatic updates off would stop the problem.  Really HP?  You have a problem you are causing and you can't correct it or at last put out some sort of notification?

Hello,

I am also having the same issue. My HP Officejetpro 9015 tries to download and keeps failing over and over.

Please help!

Thank you
