Where is WPS on my HP Officejet 9010e printer? Or would that help me connect to my Hp Computer? I'm so sick of having to work on this. Every time I get things setup (with HP help), I can't print and HP All-in-one wants me to always print PDFs which I don't like or understand. I now can't print at all.

When I try to connect the printer to my computer, I see it shows that I don't have an IP address listed, but when I try to add that, it states I'm not connected. I had a, easy to understand, HP expert really help me the other day--so great-- but the next day everything changed.

Hi @Debbyjean47,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand your HP OfficeJet 9010e printer is not connecting to your computer and you’re having trouble with setup, including WPS and IP address issues. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.
a. Check Power & Network Connection
Ensure the printer is powered on and no error lights are showing.
Make sure your printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
b. Locate WPS on Your Printer
On the OfficeJet 9010e, the WPS button is usually on the control panel or near the wireless icon.
Press the WPS button on the printer, then within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
This allows the printer to connect automatically without entering a password.
c. Verify Wi-Fi Settings
On the printer: Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Setup Wizard.
Select your Wi-Fi network and carefully enter the password.
Check if the printer gets an IP address automatically.
d. Restart Devices
Turn off the printer, computer, and router.
Wait 30 seconds, then turn on the router, printer, and finally the computer.
Try printing again.
e. Update or Reinstall Printer Software
On your computer, uninstall the HP printer driver and software.
Download and install the latest HP Smart app or driver from HP Support.
Open HP Smart, add your printer, and follow the on-screen instructions.
I hope this helps.
