Hi @Ashu2334,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP MFP 126nw printer is not responding to commands from your Acer laptop but works fine with mobile devices and another laptop of the same model, here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

**1. Check Printer Status:

  • If the printer’s display shows "Use Cartridge," it might indicate a problem with the cartridges or their installation. Ensure that the cartridges are properly installed and not empty or defective.

**2. Verify Printer Connections

  • Ensure that the printer and your Acer laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes connectivity issues can prevent communication between devices.
  • Make sure the printer’s IP address is correctly set up on your Acer laptop. You can check this in the printer’s settings or on the printer’s display.

**3. Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (Mac), right-click on the HP MFP 126nw, and select Remove Device or Delete.
  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your specific model. Ensure you download drivers that are compatible with your operating system.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Reinstall the printer using the downloaded drivers. Follow the installation wizard, and make sure the printer is set up correctly.

**4. Check Printer Settings on Laptop

  • Ensure the HP MFP 126nw is set as the default printer on your laptop. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers and right-click on the printer, then select Set as default printer.
  • Open the Printer Properties and check the settings. Ensure that the correct paper size, type, and other settings are configured.

**5. Update Operating System

  • Make sure your operating system is up to date. Sometimes, system updates can fix compatibility issues with printers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
