HP Deskjet 2722 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently purchased the HP Deskjet 2722 All-in-One Printer to replace an HP Deskjet 2600.  It gave me issues with setup. Ever since I got it, it prints ridiculously slow. Too slow to be normal I feel. I can't use it because I have too much to print for it to be moving that slow.  The 2600 series I had previously printed 10 times as fast as this new one. It has to be a hardware error or malfunction. Otherwise, they would have received many complaints about printing speeds. I haven't seen anything in the support pages that indicates others are having this issue. I think it's just me. Can anyone offer any suggestions for me to fix what's wrong with it?

Using the hp smart app, click on the printer/ink levels and go to advanced settings

Then in the settings tab go to preferences--tray and paper management

It has to be plain paper -a4
