@Walston

Welcome to HP support community.

Provide the printer model number or the product number?

Meanwhile:

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Cheers.

Model is HP MFP M225dn

I tried;
NVRAM reset
Super NVRAM reset
Power Reset
Unplugged overnight
Unplugged for 3 mins and held down power button for 30 seconds
Plug directly into an outlet
Pulled out toner cartridge
Reset to factory defaults

I still get stuck at 'initializing'

Hello - I have tried the suggestions here and think I need to NVRAM reset. I have an MFP M479 and the touch screen will not complete initializing, just keeps rotating on the progress bar. My wifi cannot find it either so there seems to be no connection one way or another.  It is less than 6 months old. Thanks for any help, super frustrated.
