HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I can no longer use the touchpad on the front of the printer - so cannot copy, cannot change the number of copies and cannot turn the printer off.

Is this repairable or is my printer dead?

I can print from my computer and I can scan since that those are both options on the Smart app but copy is not!

This has only started recently after I upgraded to Windows 11 - though it makes no sense to me that that would be the problem.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your printer screen is not responding, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Can you message me the same instructions please?

I can't as the image won't copy.  Suggest you ask Sandytechy directly

They were useless instructions anyway since they required me to press buttons on the touchpad ..... and I can't because the touchpad isn't working - duh!
