Just updated my Mac to OS 10.14 Mojave but I think this was after the printer stopped working....could be wrong on the timing but that's really the only thing of significance I can think of.

Hello Mr. Robot, and thank you so much for responding to my plea for solutions!!  I will follow your advice and replace my InstantInk cartridges with store bought ones on Sunday. As I re-read your email, I remembered that, 2 months ago when I was printing a manual I continued getting paperjam messages. I cleaned it out several times but it continued to tell me I had jams even though I could find no more paper....and I looked really thoroughly. I shut it down and haven't tried to print since.  InstantInk, by the way, failed me and didn't send me ink when I needed it so I didnt respond to their emails, and thought that would be the end of my useless contract with them. If I didn't formally end my contract with them, it's entirely possibe that the printer won't work because of them.....hence....I'll replace my ink cartridges. I figured I had better give you this info in case, by leaving it out of my original email (a forgetful mistake) that it might have made a difference in your kind advice to me.   Thank you again!!!  @ billybob6286

Hey there! @billybob6286, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you have issues printing and you are getting an error cannot print visit instant ink page on your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Have you enrolled for instant ink subscription?

Have you cancelled the instant ink contract?

Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated.

This message would normally appear if there is a billing issue with the Instant Ink service. (sometimes it represents a connection issue, but I'm pretty confident that it is not.) I'm pretty sure that the original owner was enrolled in the Instant Ink program and failed to cancel the service properly.

If you look at the printers Ink cartridges do they say Instant Ink on them? If they do, you can swap them out for regular store bought cartridges. The printer should then work.

If you have issues registering in instant ink. Please share instant ink details in a private message, so I can check the records and help you in registering with instant ink.

Printer Model Name

Serial Number of the printer

Instant ink Email Address

Instant Ink Account Number
