Yes (to downloading the driver from the provided link, thank you).
I have installed the drivers, configured the WiFi on the printer. The printer finds the computer. All indications are that they are connected and should work. The laptop shows "this device is working properly". It's set as the default. It won't print from a File/Print menu in any program. It does print... as long as I right click from File Explorer, 'Open With' Edge (specifically Edge, as it doesn't work with IE or Firefox), and print from there. And, it does work on the second computer that is using it wirelessly, which also has Windows 10 and Office 2010. So it's not Windows, and it's not Office that are the problem. Both computers have the same OS and versions of Office. I did the same installation process on the third laptop which has Windows 7 and MS Office 2010. I went through the same procedures of installation on all...going to 123.hp.com, following the prompts to get the drivers, connect the Wifi, etc. One prints, one doesn't. In fact, two print and one doesn't. In fact, it prints wirelessly from my iPhone also. So three print, and one doesn't!
It's not my old version of Office that is the culprit, and it's not Windows 7 or 10 specifically. It's something with MY particular latop but I don't know what else to try.
I've removed, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted the printer and the laptop, used a different cable, checked UAC per above reply (this gives me 2 errors), configured the printer to the WiFi, everything I can think of and what you all have suggested. And I don't care about printing wirelessly, I'm actually hard-wired to the printer. So yes, the default is set to the wired option, not the wireless option.
Staples wants me to buy a new laptop, their reasoning was that my laptop is older and my software is old... but I disproved that.

This might require remote access of the of the computer to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.

So I basically go all the way until where it says "Allow full control." I am stuck here because it already allows full control under my username. Not too sure how to go about this?
Even if I press "ok" and try to print from a Word, it still passes a blank page through. I can only print through PDF ...

Welcome to HP support community.
Provide the printer model number or the product number?
Meanwhile:
The issue could have been caused by the security settings changed on the user profile.
You may either create a new user, login with the new user profile to install the printer or Turn off the UAC from the control panel and Restart the PC.
Here are the steps to configure UAC settings:
Open User Account Control Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type uac, and then click Change User Account Control settings.
To turn off UAC, move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK.
if you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. You will need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off.
I hope that helps.

Create a new user account in Windows.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Accounts.
- Select Family & other users.
- Tap "Add someone else to this PC."
- Select "I don't have this person's sign-in information."
- Select "Add a user without a Microsoft account."
- Enter a username, type the account's password twice, enter a clue and select Next.
I hope that helps.
