I am trying to print something on A6 cardstock and it's not printing centered at all. It always prints off to the left of the paper. I am not sure what I am checking or not checking within my print settings. I am printing within Indesign if that helps solve the problem any. The cardstock is A6 but it says on the package 4.5x6.25. My document is exactly 4.5x6.25 and is exactly centered horizontally, so my guess is it has to be within the printer settings via HP.
On a side note I have tried calling HP techinical support 5 times and everytime they say connecting you to an agent it drops the call.

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!
As per the paper handling specifications available here, HP Officejet Pro 8600 only support A6 card "105 x 148 mm (4.1 x 5.8 inches)". However, you can try creating a custom paper size and then try to print. You may use the steps available here to create a custom paper size.

So I have also tried setting my document to 4.1 x 5.8 (HP's version of A6) and printed it and it's still not centered at all. I have also tried creating a custom size and nothing is working. Still off center.

Does the print preview show incorrect alignment?
Which application are you using to print Cards?

I don't think I have access to a preview in the print dialouge window. Like I said in my first post I am using InDesign to print this. I do however have the option to show my document in "preview" mode and yes everything is centered. I have since contacted HP regarding technical support on this issue and they say there's no support they can give me at all (which doesn't make any sense at all). They say that since my printer is 6 years old they don't have access to recovery discs, hardware of software for my system...but clearly this issue doesn't even have anything to do with any of those things. I am at the point where I am going to just scrap this printer and buy a canon...something with better technical support. Which sucks because other than this issue the printer works great for me!

Since the content on the document is aligned properly on the preview screen, it's possible that the printheads are not aligned properly or there is an issue with the paper feed roller. Power resetting the printer, cleaning the paper feed rollers and then realigning the printheads may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:
1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector
2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door
3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)
4) Clean the paper feed rollers, refer to step 4 from this document.
5) Plug the power cord back into the printer
6) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.
7) On the printer control panel, touch the Right Arrow () to display additional options.
😎 Touch Setup (), and then touch Tools.
9) Touch Align Printhead. The printer prints an alignment page.
