Go to the printer and get a network report as explained on page 67 there are two ways
1-On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch (Wireless) to display the network
status screen. Touch Print Info to print the network configuration page.
2-On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch ( Setup ), touch Tools, and then
touch Network Configuration Report.
if the IPv4 address of the printer is revealed as 192.168.120 see if your laptop can access it using "ping" from the windows command prompt.
Bring up HP smart and the device page. It should also have that IPv4 number.
If it does not show IPv4 (or IPv6) then enter the IPv4 into the "IP address or hostname" and do the "Search Again"
